Real-time crypto, geopolitical, and macroeconomic news — scored for market impact, classified by sentiment, and wired directly into signal adjustments.
News is pulled every 5 minutes from 6+ sources: Reuters, BBC, AP, Bloomberg, CoinDesk, and CoinTelegraph. Each article is fetched, deduplicated, and passed through a keyword classifier that maps it to one of 6 categories: TRUMP_POLICY, WAR_GEOPOLITICAL, CRYPTO_REGULATORY, MARKET_SHOCK, FED_MONETARY, and CRYPTO_GENERAL.
Each article is scored on a 4-level impact scale: critical, high, medium, and low. Critical events are those with immediate market-moving potential — think emergency Fed decisions, exchange insolvencies, or major regulatory actions. High-impact items are closely watched but don't demand instant reaction. Medium and low provide background context.
The Fear & Greed index is pulled from Alternative.me every 5 minutes and displayed alongside the news feed. It's a composite of volatility, market momentum, social volume, dominance, and trends. Use it as a market-wide sentiment gauge that complements the news flow — extreme readings tend to precede reversals.
Critical — Immediate market-moving events. Treat these as high-priority: review open positions, check if the news is directly relevant to your holdings, and consider tightening stops. Examples: major exchange hack, unexpected Fed rate decision, country-level crypto ban.
High — Watch closely but don't react automatically. These events often set up conditions for moves over the next few hours. Examples: congressional crypto hearing, large ETF inflow/outflow day, significant whale on-chain movement.
Medium / Low — Background context. Medium events may shift sentiment if they cluster. Low-impact items are informational — useful for understanding the macro environment but unlikely to move markets on their own.
Use the category filter tabs at the top to focus on what matters to your strategy. If you trade macro-sensitive setups, watch FED_MONETARY closely. If you're focused on altcoins, CRYPTO_REGULATORY matters most. WAR_GEOPOLITICAL events tend to trigger risk-off moves across all crypto assets.
The Fear & Greed index works best as a contrarian indicator at extremes. When it sits below 20 (Extreme Fear), the market is oversold emotionally — historically a window for accumulation. When it's above 80 (Extreme Greed), leverage is high and the crowd is all-in — a period to reduce risk. The 7-day trend shows whether sentiment is accelerating or reversing.
Signal adjustments shown on this page reflect how the system modifies its confidence in directional signals based on the current news environment. A large negative modifier means the news backdrop is bearish enough to reduce confidence in long signals.
News classification is performed automatically using keyword matching and heuristics. An article may be assigned an incorrect category or impact level if the language is ambiguous or the topic spans multiple domains. Always read the source article before acting on any news item.
This feed aggregates from publicly available RSS sources. Some breaking news may not appear immediately if the source hasn't published an RSS item yet. Official government announcements, Truth Social posts, and direct policy statements may lag by several minutes depending on when news agencies pick them up.
Historical patterns between news categories and price movements are observational, not causal. Markets respond to expectations as much as to events themselves — the same headline can cause opposite reactions depending on what was already priced in. Use this data as one input alongside technical and on-chain analysis.
